My name is Alix (she/her). I grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan and am now living in Saskatoon, on Treaty 6 Territory and Homeland of the Métis Nation. Art has been a huge part of my life since I was little. My main practices include drawing, watercolour painting, printmaking, graphic design.
I’ve always loved creating since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I’m inspired by nature and trying to capture human emotions and experiences. Much of my work has a theme of fairytale worlds and how the whimsical relates to the here and now.
